Register your interest in ACE Your Hearing 2.0
Thank you for your interest in ACE Your Hearing, a small-group communication support program for adults with hearing loss and their communication partners.
It has been developed by The University of Queensland, in partnership with leading hearing health and research organisations, for adults aged over 50 with acquired hearing loss.
ACE Your Hearing focuses on improving everyday communication, building confidence, managing daily challenges, and supporting the social and emotional well-being of people living with hearing loss.
Real-World Strategy Training: Participants learn techniques to manage challenging environments, such as hearing in loud restaurants or holding conversations in noisy, high-background-noise settings.
Shared Problem-Solving: Groups, which include family members or friends, tackle specific scenarios, such as listening to television or speaking on the phone.
Targeting Emotional Well-being: The program addresses the frustration and social isolation caused by hearing loss, promoting better engagement in social settings.
Complementing Hearing Aids: While designed to help people with hearing aids, it is equally beneficial for those who do not yet use them
